Some things just jump out at you!

In the 2001 NFL draft, Dave Wannstedt and Rick Spielman chose Jamar Fletcher as the 26th pick in the first round. In that same draft, they passed up an opportunity to nab a guy by the name of Drew Brees because Wanny was convinced that Jay Fiedler was the future of the franchise.

Today Jamar is playing for the San Diego Chargers and so is Drew Brees. Jamar was a bust and was traded along with the Phins 2005, sixth round draft pick for Mr. David Boston. Mr. Boston injured his knee in a pre-season game while running deep for an overthrown ball by our insufferable Jay Fiedler and is now out for the 2004 season.

Next!

Brian Griese landed in the Miami Dolphins lap at the beginning of the 2003 season. Dave in his infinite wisdom kept Brian at the number two spot throughout the pre-season and into the regular season.

Finally, as expected, Jay Fiedler got injured. Brian got the start and guess what? He beat the San Diego Chargers. One problem for Brian though, errrrr Wade Smith! SO....Wann's jumped the gun on Brian and re-inserted the love of his life, Jay Fiedler.

OK...where am I going with this?

Drew Brees
Ranked 6th in the NFL
with a 108.7 rating.

Brian Griese
Ranked 7th in the NFL
with a 106.9 rating.

Jay Fiedler
Ranked 37th in the NFL
with a 67.0 rating.

AJ Feeley
Ranked 49th in the NFL
with a 55.4 rating.

Decision after decision since the Chicago boys came to town have been
a clear disaster for the Miami Dolphins. If you read the history of Dave you can
clearly see that what they did to the Chicago Bears, they have now done to the Miami Dolphins.

AND NOW we are hearing from the
Johnny-Be-Late fishrap pundits is fire
Wanny but do it at the end of the season.

I say Bullshit to that!
Wannstedt and Spielman are not to be trusted
with the keys to this franchise. They have driven it
far into the ground and will continue to do so
with the crazy notion that if they win a game,
their asses are saved.

FIRE DAVE WANNSTEDT!

NOW!

Ahhh the off-season. A time to reflect on the past football season, evaluate and take action to improve your football team. Well, after two straight seasons of missing the playoffs with a talented but aging team, the Miami Dolphins ownership decided to make a bold move and extend the contract of their head coach, Dave Wannstedt. We at firedavewannstedt.com shook our heads in disbelief upon the realization that we would have to keep this Geead Damn web site up for another year. OK..we got to do what weees got to do. So click here and let's eek out that one last benefit of the doubt for our beloved Miami Dolphins and see how it went this off-season.

Once upon a time I had a petition in this very spot. I don't think it did very well because most folks knew it was an exercise in futility. Plus, if you think that I'm gonna print the damn thing and deliver it to Wayne, well...no thanks. Wayne would probably extend Wanny's contract another 5 years just to piss me off. So, thanks to all who signed it and I hope it gave you a bit of a mental catharsis.

Don't worry Dave, if you get whacked by Danny er Wayne just click below.

Dave, your loyalty to Jay continues to amaze me.
It's inspired me to find the perfect song
